I'm sadly and with great reluctance selling my Surf. The bad news: it is not currently running due to an undiagnosed engine problem. The price may seem high for a vehicle not running, but I've been working on it over the past couple years; it has lots of new parts, many others which aren't new, but have seen little use. The cost of having the work done that I've listed below is worth more than my asking price, let alone the value of the parts. I'm selling because I'm losing my storage space and need the cash. This could be a good opportunity for someone who wants a small diesel, and is looking for a project.

The engine is a 2LT. It has [removed phone] kms on it. This vehicle is a right-hand drive. It is a 4 cylinder turbo diesel.

The good:

All New:
- front brake pads
- Raybestos rear brake shoes, drums and cylinders
- brake fluid
- Moog upper and lower ball joints
- OEM idler arm
- Pro Comp front and rear shocks
- sway bar bushings
- coolant and recent cooling system flush

-Freshly re-packed front wheel bearings
-Starter re-built by Toyota
-Turbo rebuilt by ADP in Richmond
-Clutch replaced at approx. [removed phone] kms
-Cylinder head replaced
-New head gasket
-KN Air filter, recently cleaned and re-oiled
-Recently passed full safety inspection
-Injector pump rebuilt at approx. [removed phone]kms
-Timing belt and tensioners replaced at [removed phone] kms
-Recently had injectors cleaned, tested
-Power windows work, including rear window
-I've always done regular oil, filter changes using full synthetic oil.
-Tires are at about 75%
-Good, solid, rust-free frame

The Bad:

-Engine not running due to unknown problem. It started with a tapping sound and excessive smoking, now doesn't want to start.
-Interior heater control lever not functioning, needs repair. The heat does work
-The body has some bumps and bruises. The back corners are both dented and rusting. The whole truck needs a good cleaning.
